Job description

We’re looking for a Manual Test Analyst with strong experience in API testing and Database validation. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality of web applications across backend and frontend layers.

Key Responsibilities

• Create test scenarios, cases, and data

• Perform API testing using Postman/SoapUI

• Validate backend data using SQL queries

• Log & track defects (JIRA, Azure DevOps)

• Coordinate with Dev, QA, and BA teams

• Ensure test coverage for all requirements

• Prepare clear test reports

 Must-Have Skills

• 2–4 years in Manual Testing

• Strong in API testing (REST/SOAP)

• Good SQL knowledge (queries, joins, stored procs)

• Familiar with tools like JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM

• Understanding of SDLC, STLC & defect lifecycle

 Nice-to-Have

• Basic knowledge of Automation (Selenium, RestAssured)

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum

• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
