Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SDET with 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Java, API Automation, REST Assured, SQL, Selenium, JUnit, and enterprise application testing.

The ideal candidate should have real-world experience in developing automation frameworks, testing microservices and APIs, and working with databases and CI/CD tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test scenarios and test cases for enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Develop API automation scripts using Java and REST Assured.
• Perform database testing using SQL.
• Test REST and SOAP web services.
• Test microservices-based applications and validate API responses.
• Work with JSON/XML payloads and service integrations.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and QA teams in an Agile environment.
• Test event-driven applications and validate Kafka-based integrations.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Participate in code reviews and automation framework improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software testing/SDET experience
• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java
• Strong hands-on experience in REST Assured API Automation
• Strong SQL and database testing experience
• Experience with JUnit/TestNG
• Experience with Selenium
• Experience developing automation frameworks
• Strong experience in API testing and microservices testing
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services
• Experience with Postman and/or Insomnia
• Experience with Spring Boot
• Knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL/RDBMS
• Understanding of Kafka and event-based application testing
• Experience with Jenkins
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Rally, or similar tools
• Knowledge of Mockito and BDD/JBehave is an advantage
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, confidentiality, and enterprise security concepts
• Strong analytical and logical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
