Job description

We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer to enhance and maintain integrations between Slack, Microsoft Teams, and our client’s existing SaaS platform.

You will work with REST APIs, primarily using AWS Lambda and DynamoDB, to improve existing connectors and add new features. A solid grasp of Python, API development, and AWS services is essential. Experience with Slack/Teams app development and OAuth flows is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for Slack and Microsoft Teams integrations.

• Work on existing AWS Lambda functions and DynamoDB-based solutions.

• Understand and extend the current backend architecture.

• Debug and fix integration issues as they arise.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow agile practices.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with Python programming.

• Hands-on with AWS Lambda and DynamoDB.

• Understanding of REST APIs and microservice architecture.

• Familiar with version control tools like Git/Bitbucket.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience building Slack apps using Bolt for Python (modals, slash commands).

• Experience building Microsoft Teams apps (bots, task modules).

• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 authentication flows.

• Familiarity with Jinja templates for dynamic content.

• Background in IAM/PIM domain is a bonus.
