We are looking for a hands-on Test Automation Engineer (SDET) with strong coding skills and experience in building robust, scalable test automation for modern web and API applications. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy coding and quality assurance equally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop end-to-end automation using Cypress or Playwright with JavaScript (Node.js)

• Implement API test automation through code

• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable test scripts

• Work with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, YAML, Docker)

• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and QA teams in an Agile environment

• Perform testing of web applications and APIs, with a strong focus on quality and performance

Required Skills:

• Proficient in JavaScript and automation tools like Cypress or Playwright

• Solid understanding of API testing, CI/CD, and version control systems (Git)

• Hands-on experience with Docker, GitLab CI, and YAML configurations

• Strong analytical, coding, and problem-solving skills

• Experience with test management tools (e.g., IBM Jazz, Quality Center)

• Excellent communication and teamwork

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of IoT or hardware-software integration

• Experience with performance/NFR testing (e.g., K6, Sitespeed.io)

Note:

This is a hands-on SDET role. Knowledge of automation tools alone is not sufficient — strong coding ability is essential. Be ready to solve real-world coding challenges during the interview process.
